Corneal Transplants
Corneal transplantation is a surgical procedure where an injured or diseased cornea is replaced by donated corneal tissue. It is needed if vision cannot be corrected with eyeglasses or contact lenses or if pain and swelling cannot be controlled with medication or special contact lenses.
